Resting in the Promise
I receive frequent requests to purchase Havilah House, and I can see why. Havilah House is comfortably situated on 2 acres of land. It’s central to town and there are some highly developed estates and properties close by. On paper Haviliah House looks like an easy block to develop. The current regulations allow the blocks in… Continue reading Resting in the Promise

You will see in the photos that I partially complete each side and then lifted them… Continue reading Small Cabin Framework
Camouflaging the Shed
I finished camouflaging the shed with green paint, and made the new doors. In the last two weeks it has rained a bit, and the Summer weather arrived … so everything has grown. So mission accomplished … the shed has virtually “disappeared from view” now we see the greenery and flowers.
New Timber Shed Doors
This is a photo of building my second shed door. The other door is built, primed, painted and on the shed. The ply was leftover from a previous job. So far it cost 20 dollars for both doors … for one eight-foot plank of Poplar (which I cut into four strips, 4x 6foot long strips for stiles,… Continue reading New Timber Shed Doors
Bert and Lydia’s Outdoor BBQ Area
Bert and Lydia built themselves an outdoor BBQ which I feel works very well in their home environment as a place to relax and chill after work and during the weekend. The BBQ is conveniently close to their house right below the main access stairs to their veranda and front door. Bert and Lydia’s Outdoor… Continue reading Bert and Lydia’s Outdoor BBQ Area
Thoughts about a small tin garden shed in a cold climate
I think “the whole thing” makes the rigidity it is not beam and post. This is how our shed is made. It does not use “sine wave” corrugation. It’s “square wave” corrugation. Which gives it more rigidity when the panels are joined together and overlapping. This also gives the walls better “snow load” for taking weight… Continue reading Thoughts about a small tin garden shed in a cold climate
